4. Installation und Einrichtung
4.1 Checkliste vor der Installation
- Confirm duct size compatibility (6-inch duct).

4.2 Installationsschritte

5. Bedienung
The Fantech FB 6 In-line Filter Box operates passively as part of your ventilation system. Once installed, it continuously filters the air passing through it. No user interaction is required for its daily operation.
6. Wartung
6.1 Filterwechsel
Regular filter replacement is crucial for maintaining optimal air quality and system performance. The frequency of replacement depends on usage and environmental conditions, but it is generally recommended every 3-6 months.
- Stromversorgung trennen: Ensure the HVAC system connected to the filter box is powered off at the circuit breaker.
- Open Access Panel: Loosen the knobs/screws on the access panel and carefully open it.
- Alten Filter entfernen: Gently slide out the old MERV 13 filter. Note its orientation for correct installation of the new filter.
- Neuen Filter einfügen: Slide a new MERV 13 filter into the filter box, ensuring it is properly seated and oriented.
- Zugangsklappe schließen: Close the access panel and tighten the knobs/screws securely.
- Strom wiederherstellen: Turn the power back on to the HVAC system.
7. Fehlerbehebung
