2. Sicherheitshinweise

4. Einrichtung
4.1 Montage
The heater requires minimal assembly before first use. Attach the wheels and handle to the main unit using the provided hardware. Ensure all connections are secure.

4.2 Betankung der Heizung

- Carefully pour clean diesel fuel into the tank. The tank capacity is 19 liters.

4.3 Platzierung

5. Bedienungsanleitung
5.1 Inbetriebnahme der Heizung
- Ensure the heater is properly fueled and positioned.
- Stecken Sie das Netzkabel in eine geeignete Steckdose.
- Turn the power switch to the "ON" position. The fan will start, and the ignition sequence will begin.
- The heater will automatically ignite the diesel fuel and begin producing heat.

5.2 Adjusting Temperature (Thermostat)
The TROTEC IDE 20 D features an integrated thermostat. Use the thermostat dial on the control panel to set the desired temperature. The heater will cycle on and off automatically to maintain the set temperature.

To turn off the heater, switch the power button to the "OFF" position. The fuel supply will be cut off, but the fan will continue to run for approximately 90 seconds to cool down the unit before completely shutting off. This cool-down period is crucial for the longevity of the heater components.
6. Wartung

Ensure the heater is unplugged and completely cool before performing any cleaning. Wipe the exterior surfaces with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Periodically check the air intake and fan for dust or debris accumulation and clean as necessary to maintain optimal airflow.

Regularly inspect and clean or replace the fuel filter to ensure a consistent fuel supply and efficient operation. Refer to the service manual for specific instructions on accessing and maintaining the fuel filter.
6.3 Speicherung
When storing the heater for extended periods, ensure the fuel tank is empty or filled with fresh, stabilized diesel fuel. Store the unit in a dry, clean environment, protected from dust and moisture. It is recommended to cover the heater to prevent dust buildup.
