Follow these steps for proper setup of your dirty water pump:
- Schlauch anbringen: Securely connect a 2-inch (50.8mm) discharge hose to the pump's G2 connection. Ensure the connection is tight to prevent leaks.
- Positionierung: Place the pump on a stable, level surface in the area to be drained. Ensure the pump is fully submerged in the water for optimal operation.
- Betriebsraum: Allow for sufficient operating space around the pump, with a minimum of 50 x 50 cm, and a diameter of 27 cm for the pump itself.

5. Bedienungsanleitung
The Einhell GC-DP 1340 G pump can operate in continuous or automatic mode:
5.1. Automatic Operation (Float Switch Controlled)
In automatic mode, the pump starts and stops based on the water level, controlled by the float switch. When the water level rises and lifts the float switch, the pump will activate. When the water level drops and the float switch lowers, the pump will deactivate.

5.2. Kontinuierlicher Betrieb
For continuous operation, secure the float switch in an upright position (e.g., by attaching it to the pump handle) so that it remains in the "ON" position regardless of the water level. This will keep the pump running continuously until manually unplugged or the water source is depleted.
The pump is designed to handle dirty water with particles up to 40 mm in size.
