3. Einrichtung

Follow these steps to set up your Aastra 6863i IP Phone:

1. Bringen Sie den Tischständer an: Align the tabs on the desk stand with the slots on the back of the phone unit and snap it into place. This allows the phone to sit at an optimal viewing-Winkel.

   • Using an Optional AC Adapter: If PoE is not available, connect an optional Efficiency Level "V" compliant AC power adapter (not included) to the power port on the phone and then to a power outlet. Then, connect the Ethernet cable from your network to the LAN port on the phone.

4. Erster Systemstart: The phone will begin its boot-up sequence. The display will show various messages as it connects to the network and registers with your IP PBX system. This process may take a few moments.

5. Konfiguration: The phone supports Manual or Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) IP address setup. Your network administrator will typically configure the phone's network settings and line registrations automatically. If manual configuration is required, refer to your system administrator's instructions.

  1. Pick up the handset, press the Speaker button, or press an available Line key (L1/L2).
