Aufstellen

Follow these steps to set up your PondoCompact 500i fountain pump:

1. Auspacken: Carefully remove the pump and all accessories from the packaging. Check for any damage.

Bedienungsanleitung

The PondoCompact 500i is designed for continuous operation. Once connected to power and fully submerged, the pump will begin to circulate water.

• Erstinbetriebnahme: After connecting to power, the pump will start immediately. Ensure the water level is sufficient to keep the pump fully submerged.
• Durchflussanpassung: Some models may feature a flow control slider or knob. Adjust this to achieve the desired water flow rate for your fountain or water feature.
• Dauerbetrieb: The pump is designed for continuous use. Monitor water levels regularly to prevent dry running, which can damage the pump.

Wartung

Regelmäßige Wartung gewährleistet optimale Leistung und verlängert die Lebensdauer Ihrer Pumpe.

1. Stromversorgung trennen: Always unplug the pump from the power supply before any maintenance.
2. Clean Intake Grille: Periodically remove the pump from the water and clean the intake grille to remove any accumulated debris, leaves, or algae. This prevents blockages and maintains flow.
3. Laufradreinigung: If flow significantly decreases, the impeller may be clogged.
   • Remove the pump cover (refer to diagram if available, usually by unclipping or unscrewing).
   • Carefully remove the impeller and clean it thoroughly with a soft brush and clean water.
   • Inspect the impeller and its housing for any damage or wear.
   • Reassemble the pump, ensuring all parts are correctly seated.
4. Winterlager: During freezing temperatures, remove the pump from the pond. Clean it thoroughly and store it in a frost-free location, submerged in water if possible, or ensure it is completely dry to prevent damage.
