Setup und Installation

1. Einlegen der Batterie

The RC-4HC data logger requires a CR2450 battery for operation. Follow these steps to install the battery:

1. Suchen Sie das Batteriefach auf der Rückseite des Geräts.
2. Use a coin or a flat tool to gently twist and open the battery cover.
3. Place the CR2450 battery under the small metal clip, ensuring the positive pole (marked with a plus sign) is facing upwards.

2. Connecting the External Temperature Sensor

For applications requiring external temperature measurement, connect the provided external sensor to the designated port on the side of the data logger. The external sensor has a cable length of 1.1 meters.

3. Softwareinstallation und Verbindung

To configure the logger and download data, you will need the Elitech data management software. This software can be downloaded from the official Elitech website. Once installed, connect the data logger to your computer using the provided USB cable.

Bedienungsanleitung

1. Starten und Beenden der Protokollierung

To start the data logger, press the button on the device once to light up the screen. Then, press and hold the button for more than 4 seconds. A triangle sign firmly lit up on the logger screen indicates that logging has successfully started. To stop logging, connect the logger to the computer and use the software.

2. ViewDaten auf dem Gerät speichern

While the logger is active, press the button briefly to cycle through various display parameters including current temperature, humidity, total logged points, current time, date, maximum temperature, minimum temperature, and upper/lower temperature limits.

3. Configuring Parameters via Software

After connecting the logger to your computer, open the Elitech data management software. Navigate to the "Parameter" tab to adjust settings such as the log interval (e.g., to 10 seconds), alarm limits, and temperature unit (°C/°F). Remember to click the "Save Parameter" button after making changes. This action will also clear previous data and prepare the logger for new recording sessions.

4. Data Download and Export

Once connected to the software, you can download the recorded data. The Elitech software allows you to export data in various formats, including PDF and Excel, for easy analysis and reporting.
