1. Einleitung

This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient operation of your Miele Complete C3 Cat & Dog Canister Vacuum Cleaner, Model 10014520. Please read these instructions carefully before first use to ensure proper functionality and to prevent damage.

2. Sicherheitshinweise

Always observe safety precautions when operating electrical appliances. Failure to do so may result in injury or damage to the appliance.

• Do not operate the vacuum cleaner without a dustbag and filter in place.
• Halten Sie Haare, lose Kleidung, Finger und alle Körperteile von Öffnungen und beweglichen Teilen fern.
• Nehmen Sie keine entflammbaren oder brennbaren Flüssigkeiten wie Benzin auf und verwenden Sie sie nicht in Bereichen, in denen sie vorhanden sein könnten.
• Heben Sie keine brennenden oder rauchenden Gegenstände auf, z. B. Zigaretten, Streichhölzer oder heiße Asche.
• Ziehen Sie bei Nichtgebrauch und vor Wartungsarbeiten den Stecker aus der Steckdose.

3. Einrichtung

3.1 Auspacken

Nehmen Sie alle Komponenten vorsichtig aus der Verpackung. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass alle in der Packungsbeilage aufgeführten Teile vorhanden sind.

3.2 Zusammenbau des Staubsaugers

1. Befestigen Sie den Schlauch: Insert the hose connector into the suction opening on the main unit until it clicks securely into place.
2. Anbringen des Teleskopstabs: Connect the telescopic wand to the hose handle. Adjust the length of the wand by pressing the release button and extending or retracting it.
3. Bringen Sie den Bodenkopf an: Select the appropriate floorhead (Electrobrush for carpets, Parquet Twister for hard floors) and attach it to the end of the telescopic wand.

4. Bedienungsanleitung

4.1 Ein-/Ausschalten

Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet. Press the large foot pedal marked with a power symbol (①) to switch the vacuum cleaner on or off.

4.2 Einstellen der Saugleistung

The Miele Complete C3 offers 6 different suction power settings, adjustable via foot pedals (+ / -) on the main unit. Select the appropriate setting based on the surface being cleaned:

• Min. (Curtains/Delicate Fabrics): For light cleaning of curtains, textiles, or delicate items.
• Polster: Ideal for cleaning upholstered furniture.
• Rugs/Carpets: Für kurzflorige Teppiche und Auslegware.
• Hartböden: For hard flooring surfaces.
• Max. (Heavy Duty/Shaggy Carpets): For intensive cleaning of heavily soiled areas or thick, shaggy carpets.

4.3 Anhänge verwenden

The vacuum cleaner includes three integrated accessories for versatile cleaning:

• Staubwedel: For cleaning delicate surfaces, shelves, and decorative items.
• Polsterdüse: For cleaning upholstered furniture, mattresses, and cushions.
• Spaltdüse: For reaching narrow gaps, corners, and edges.

4.4 Comfort Park System

For quick breaks during vacuuming, hook the floorhead onto the rear of the vacuum cleaner. This allows the unit to stand upright and pause operation.

4.5 Comfort Cable Rewind

To retract the power cord, gently press the foot pedal marked with a cable symbol (②). The cord will automatically rewind into the unit.

5. Wartung

5.1 Changing the Dustbag

The dustbag indicator on the main unit will signal when the dustbag needs to be replaced. To change the dustbag:

1. Open the dustbag compartment by lifting the lid.
2. Pull the blue collar of the dustbag upwards to seal it, then remove the full dustbag.
3. Insert a new Miele AirClean FilterBag, ensuring the blue collar clicks into place.
4. Close the dustbag compartment lid securely.

5.2 Replacing the Active AirClean Filter

The Active AirClean filter contains active charcoal to neutralize pet odors and should be replaced regularly (approximately once a year, or more frequently with heavy use or pets). The filter indicator will signal when replacement is due.

1. Open the filter compartment by lifting the lid.
2. Entfernen Sie den alten Active AirClean-Filter.
3. Insert a new Active AirClean filter, ensuring it sits correctly.
4. Schließen Sie das Filterfach.
