Setup und Installation

1. Mounting the Levers:

Bedienungsanleitung

The Microshift R8 Dual Control Levers are designed for intuitive operation, combining braking and shifting functions into a single unit.

Gangwechsel:

• Upshift (to a larger cog/chainring):

  The upshift is performed by pushing the smaller, inner lever towards the handlebar. This action will move the chain to a larger cog on the rear cassette or a larger chainring on the front crankset, making pedaling easier.
• Downshift (to a smaller cog/chainring):

  The downshift is performed by pushing the main brake lever inwards, away from the handlebar. This action will move the chain to a smaller cog on the rear cassette or a smaller chainring on the front crankset, making pedaling harder but allowing for higher speeds.

• Front Derailleur (Triple System):

  For the 3x8 triple system, the left lever controls the front derailleur. Use the same upshift/downshift actions to move between the three chainrings. Ensure proper trim adjustment to prevent chain rub.

Bremsen:

To engage the brakes, pull the main lever (the larger lever) towards the handlebar. Apply even pressure for controlled stopping. Avoid sudden, hard braking, especially with the front brake, to prevent loss of control.
