Aufstellen

Einlegen der Batterie

The TC CP-40S requires two 1.5V AAA batteries (not included) for operation.

1. Suchen Sie die Abdeckung des Batteriefachs auf der Rückseite des Geräts.

Attaching the Hanging Rope

The included hanging rope can be attached to the device for convenient carrying and to prevent accidental drops.

1. Locate the small loop hole on the side or bottom of the device.
2. Thread the thin end of the hanging rope through the loop hole.
3. Pass the larger loop of the rope over the device and pull it tight to secure.

Familiarize yourself with the device's buttons:

• ON/MEAS (Red Button): Powers on the device, initiates single measurement, or starts continuous measurement.
• + (Plus Button): Adds measurements, navigates up in menus.
• - (Minus Button): Subtracts measurements, navigates down in menus.
• UNIT-Taste: Changes measurement units (m, ft, in).
• Function Button (Cube Icon): Toggles between distance, area, volume, and Pythagorean measurement modes.
• Reference Point Button (Arrows Icon): Switches between front and rear measurement reference points.
• CLR/OFF (Red Button): Clears the current measurement, exits a function, or powers off the device (long press).

Ein-/Ausschalten

• So schalten Sie das Gerät ein: Drücken Sie die EIN/MESS button. The backlight will illuminate, and the device will be ready for use.
• So schalten Sie das Gerät aus: Halten Sie die CLR/OFF button for a few seconds. The device also features an automatic power-off function after 150 seconds of inactivity to conserve battery life.

Pythagoreische Messung (indirekte Messung)

This mode allows you to calculate inaccessible heights or distances using two or three measurements based on the Pythagorean theorem.

1. Drücken Sie die Funktion button (cube icon) until the desired Pythagorean mode icon appears (e.g., triangle with one unknown side).
2. Folgen Sie den Anweisungen auf dem Bildschirm, um die erforderlichen Messungen durchzuführen (z. B. Hypotenuse, Basis).

Addition und Subtraktion von Messwerten

After taking a measurement:

• Drücken Sie die + button to add the next measurement to the current one.
• Drücken Sie die - button to subtract the next measurement from the current one.
• Take the next measurement by pressing EIN/MESS. The result will be updated.

Min/Max Distance Tracking (Continuous Measurement)
