Setup und Installation

1. Auspacken und Zusammenbau

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. The unit requires minimal assembly, primarily attaching the legs.

1. Attach the four legs to the base of the fireplace using the included screws.
2. Remove the front grate by unscrewing the two mounting screws.
3. Carefully place the replica logs into the designated positions within the firebox. Ensure they are stable and do not obstruct the burner.
4. Replace the front grate and secure it with the screws.

2. Fuel Connection

This fireplace is designed for use with either natural gas or liquid propane. Ensure the correct fuel type is used and that all connections are secure and leak-free.

• The fuel hookup is located at the rear of the unit.
• For propane connections, use a standard 3/8" flare fitting.
• It is crucial to use appropriate flare fittings, brass or black pipe (not galvanized), and both yellow thread tape and thread sealant to ensure a proper seal.
• Wichtig: Do not remove the blue plastic part for propane lines or the yellow plastic part for natural gas lines if present, as these indicate the correct fuel type and connection.
• Consult a qualified installer or gas supplier for proper gas line installation and connection.

Bedienungsanleitung

1. Initial Startup and Pilot Light

Before first use or after a long period of inactivity, you may need to purge air from the gas line.

1. Locate the regulator knob, typically found behind the lower front panel.
2. Press and hold the regulator knob in the "Pilot" setting for 30-60 seconds to allow gas to flow and purge air from the line.
3. While holding the knob, use the Piezo ignition to light the pilot. You may need to press the igniter several times.
4. Once the pilot is lit, continue to hold the knob for another 30 seconds before releasing it. The pilot should remain lit.

2. Adjusting Heat and Temperature

Your fireplace features a thermostat control for managing room temperature.

• After the pilot is lit, turn the regulator knob to the desired heat setting.
• The thermostat will automatically adjust the burner output to maintain your set temperature.
• The unit will cycle on and off as needed to keep the room comfortable.

Wartung

• Log Care: The hand-painted logs are durable but should be handled with care. Do not rearrange logs while the unit is hot.
• Batteriewechsel: Replace the AAA battery for the Piezo ignition as needed to ensure reliable startup.

Fehlerbehebung

If you encounter issues with your fireplace, refer to the following common troubleshooting steps. For persistent problems, contact a qualified service technician.

• Pilot Light Will Not Stay Lit:
  • Ensure the gas supply is fully open.
  • Hold the pilot knob down for the recommended 30-60 seconds to purge air and allow the thermocouple to heat up.
  • Check for obstructions in the pilot assembly.
• Main Burner Will Not Ignite:
  • Verify the pilot light is lit.
  • Check that the thermostat is set to a temperature higher than the current room temperature.
  • Ensure the gas supply is adequate.
• Ungewöhnlicher Geruch:
  • A slight odor may be present during initial use as manufacturing oils burn off. This should dissipate.
  • If a strong gas odor is detected, immediately turn off the gas supply, ventilate the area, and contact your gas supplier or a qualified technician. Do not operate the appliance.

  • Confirm the unit is turned on and the pilot and main burner are lit.
