Einführung

Setup und Installation

The ecobee3 lite is designed for fast and easy installation, typically taking 30 minutes or less. A step-by-step guide is available through the ecobee mobile app.

1. Power Off HVAC System: Before beginning, ensure the power to your heating and cooling system is turned off at the breaker.
2. Alten Thermostat entfernen: Carefully remove your existing thermostat from the wall. Take a picture of the wiring for reference.
3. Drähte identifizieren: Label your existing wires using the provided wire labels. The ecobee3 lite powers on through the C and Rc terminals. Ensure your R/Rc/Rh wire is inserted into the Rc terminal of your ecobee3 lite thermostat. If you do not have a C-wire, the Power Extender Kit (PEK) can be used.
4. Neuen Thermostat montieren: Attach the ecobee mounting plate to the wall using the provided hardware. Connect the labeled wires to the corresponding terminals on the ecobee mounting plate.
5. Thermostat anschließen: Secure the ecobee3 lite thermostat onto the mounting plate.
6. Strom wiederherstellen: Turn the power back on to your HVAC system at the breaker.
7. Ersteinrichtung: Follow the on-screen prompts on the thermostat and the ecobee mobile app to connect to Wi-Fi and configure your system settings.
