Installationsanweisungen
- Einlegen der Batterie: Ensure the rechargeable battery is properly inserted into the battery compartment of the LCSU 4 unit. Charge the battery fully before first use using the provided AC/DC adapter.
- Canister Assembly: Place the 800 mL disposable canister into the wire stand. Ensure the canister lid is securely fastened.
- Schlauchanschluss:
- Connect one end of the vacuum tube to the vacuum port on the LCSU 4 unit.
- Connect the other end of the vacuum tube to the "VACUUM" port on the canister lid.
- Connect the patient tube to the "PATIENT" port on the canister lid.
- Stromanschluss: For continuous operation or charging, connect the AC/DC adapter to the unit's power input and then to a suitable electrical outlet.
Operating the LCSU 4
- Einschalten: Press the power button to turn on the unit. The indicator light will illuminate.
- Vakuumeinstellung: Use the vacuum regulator knob to set the desired vacuum level. The vacuum gauge will display the current suction pressure.
- Patientenverbindung: Attach the appropriate suction catheter (not included) to the free end of the patient tube.
- Suction Procedure: Follow standard medical protocols for suctioning. Ensure the catheter is properly inserted before applying suction.
- Ausschalten: Drücken Sie nach dem Gebrauch die Einschalttaste, um das Gerät auszuschalten.

- Always monitor the patient during suctioning.

- Canister Disposal: Dispose of the disposable canister and its contents according to local biohazard waste regulations.
- Schlauchwechsel: Inspect patient and vacuum tubing regularly for cracks, kinks, or blockages. Replace as needed.
- Batteriepflege: Keep the battery charged. If the unit is stored for extended periods, charge the battery periodically to maintain its life.
- Filterprüfung: Periodically check the bacterial filter (if applicable, typically located between the unit and the canister) and replace it if it appears soiled or wet.
