1. Einleitung

2. Einrichtung und Installation

The installation of this gas hob must be carried out by a qualified and registered gas installer, in compliance with all relevant national and local regulations.

2.1 Auspacken

Carefully remove the hob from its packaging. Check for any damage that may have occurred during transit. Report any damage immediately to your supplier.

2.2 Abmessungen und Ausschnitt

The hob is designed for drop-in installation into a countertop. Ensure the countertop material is heat-resistant.

2.3 Gasanschluss

This appliance is designed for use with natural gas. An LPG conversion kit is included if you need to use Liquefied Petroleum Gas. The gas connection must be performed by a qualified professional.

2.4 Elektrischer Anschluss

The hob requires an electrical connection for the push-button ignition system. Connect the appliance to a properly grounded electrical outlet. Power requirements are standard household plug.

3. Bedienungsanleitung

Your Indesit Aria gas hob features four burners with varying power outputs, controlled by easy-to-use rotary dials and a push-button ignition.

3.1 Anzünden eines Brenners

1. Ensure the pan supports are correctly positioned over the burners.
2. Platzieren Sie Ihr Kochgeschirr auf der gewünschten Kochplatte.
3. Push and turn the corresponding control knob counter-clockwise to the maximum flame position (large flame symbol).
4. Simultaneously press the ignition button (usually marked with a spark symbol). You will hear a clicking sound as the igniter sparks.
5. Once the flame ignites, continue to hold the control knob down for a few seconds (approximately 5-10 seconds) to allow the thermocouple to heat up and activate the flame failure device.
6. Release the control knob. If the flame goes out, repeat steps 3-5.

3.2 Einstellen der Flamme

Once the burner is lit, you can adjust the flame intensity by rotating the control knob:

• Turn counter-clockwise towards the small flame symbol for a lower flame.
• Turn clockwise towards the large flame symbol for a higher flame.
• The burner power range is typically between 1 KW and 3 KW, depending on the burner size.

To turn off a burner, rotate the control knob clockwise until it clicks into the 'OFF' position (usually marked with a dot or '0').

4. Wartung und Reinigung

Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your gas hob. Always ensure the hob is cool and disconnected from the power supply before cleaning.

4.1 Reinigung der Kochfeldoberfläche

• The black enamel hob surface is easy to clean. Use a soft cloth or sponge with warm soapy water.
• For stubborn stains, use a non-abrasive cleaner specifically designed for enamel surfaces.
• Avoid abrasive pads, scourers, or harsh chemicals as they can damage the surface.

4.2 Cleaning Pan Supports and Burner Components

• The enamel pan supports can be removed for cleaning. Wash them in warm soapy water or place them in a dishwasher if suitable (check product specifications for dishwasher compatibility).
• The burner caps and crowns can also be removed. Clean them with warm soapy water and a soft brush. Ensure they are completely dry before reassembling.
• Periodically check the burner holes for any blockages and clean them gently with a fine brush or needle if necessary.
• Ensure all burner components are correctly reassembled before using the hob again. Incorrect assembly can lead to uneven flames or ignition issues.
