4. Aufbau und Montage

4.1 Einstellung der Kopfhalterung

  1. Adjusting the Top Strap: Loosen the top strap to allow the helmet to sit comfortably on your head. Tighten it until the helmet feels secure without being too tight.
  2. Adjusting the Rear Knob: Rotate the large knob at the back of the headgear to adjust the circumference for a snug fit.

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the inside of the helmet, typically near the ADF.

5.2 Schweißmodus

To activate welding mode, ensure the helmet is powered on. The ADF will automatically darken to the selected shade when an arc is detected.

  • Farbanpassung: Use the touch screen to select a shade level between 5 and 13. Refer to welding standards for appropriate shade levels for your application.
  • Empfindlichkeitssteuerung: Adjust the sensitivity to control how easily the ADF reacts to welding light. Higher sensitivity is suitable for low ampdurchschnittliches WIG-Schweißen.
  • Verzögerungssteuerung: Set the delay time for the ADF to return to its light state after the arc is extinguished. This prevents eye fatigue from afterglow.

The external grind button allows for quick switching to grind mode without removing the helmet.

  1. Press the "GRIND" button located on the side of the helmet.
  2. The ADF will switch to a light shade (shade 4) suitable for grinding, providing clear visibility while protecting against debris.
  3. To return to welding mode, press the "GRIND" button again or select a welding mode on the control panel.

6. Wartung und Pflege
