This manual provides instructions for the setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your iTouchless SensorCan 13 Gallon Oval Automatic Motion Sensor Trash Can. This touchless trash can is designed for hygienic and convenient waste disposal in your home or office.

Aufstellen

1. Platzierung: Position the trash can in a suitable indoor location, such as a kitchen or office. The oval design is ideal for narrow walkways or at the end of kitchen islands.
2. Stromanschluss:

   Connect the included AC adapter to the power port on the back of the sensor lid and plug it into a wall outlet for continuous power. Alternatively, you may install 4 D-size batteries (not included) in the battery compartment located underneath the sensor lid if an outlet is not conveniently available.

3. Geruchsfilterinstallation:

   Locate the filter compartment underneath the sensor lid. Insert the AbsorbX Odor Filter into the designated holder. This filter helps neutralize odors for up to three months.

4. Installation des Müllbeutels:

   Place a 13-gallon trash bag into the can. Secure the trash bag by fitting the retainer ring over the top edge of the bag and into the can's rim. The 'No Inner Bucket' design allows for maximum capacity.

Bedienungsanleitung

1. Funktionsweise des Bewegungssensors:

   Wave your hand approximately 6 inches above the infrared sensor located on the lid. The lid will open automatically and remain open for a few seconds before closing softly and silently. This touchless operation promotes hygiene.

2. Manuelles Öffnen/Schließen:

   For extended use, press the 'OPEN' button on the control panel. The lid will stay open until you press the 'CLOSE' button. This is useful for tasks requiring the lid to remain open for longer periods, such as during food preparation or when changing the trash bag.

3. Soft-Close-Deckel:

1. Reinigung:

   Wipe the stainless steel body with a slightly wet cloth and dry immediately to maintain its appearance. The fingerprint-proof surface helps reduce smudges.

Fehlerbehebung

• Deckel öffnet/schließt nicht: Ensure the AC adapter is securely plugged in or that batteries are correctly installed and not depleted. Check for any obstructions around the sensor or lid mechanism.
• Geruch bleibt bestehen: Verify that the AbsorbX Odor Filter is correctly installed and replace it if it has exceeded its lifespan (approximately 3 months).
• Sensor too sensitive/not sensitive enough: The sensor sensitivity is pre-set for optimal performance. Ensure the trash can is not placed in direct sunlight or in an area with excessive movement that might trigger the sensor unintentionally.
