1. Einleitung

4. Installationsanweisungen

4.1 Montage der Pumpe

The FP-22 pump can be mounted on a flat surface or suspended using the integrated metal hang tabs. For optimal noise reduction and stability, utilize the vibration-dampening rubber feet.

• Choose a stable, level location near the condensate source.
• If suspending, ensure the mounting surface is secure and can support the pump's weight when full.

4.2 Condensate Inlet Connection

The pump features four inlet holes with built-in "P" traps. Connect the condensate drain line from your furnace or boiler to one of these inlets.

• Ensure a tight, leak-free connection.
• The integrated P-traps prevent odors and gases from entering the system.

4.3 Discharge Line Connection

Connect the provided 3/8" discharge tubing to the pump's discharge outlet. Route the tubing to a suitable drain location, ensuring a continuous downward slope if possible, or a clear path for the pump to lift the water.

• Avoid kinks or sharp bends in the discharge tubing.
• Secure the tubing to prevent accidental dislodgement.

4.4 Elektrischer Anschluss

Connect the pump's power cord to a dedicated 120V electrical outlet. Ensure the outlet is properly grounded and protected by a circuit breaker.

5. Bedienung

The pump is equipped with LED indicators to provide status updates:

5.2 Safety Overflow Switch

If the water level rises above the normal operating range, this switch will activate, typically shutting down the connected HVAC equipment to prevent overflow and water damage. Consult your HVAC system's manual for wiring instructions for this safety feature.

6. Wartung

• Behälter reinigen: Use a mild detergent and warm water to clean the inside of the reservoir, removing any sludge or debris. Pay attention to the float switch mechanism to ensure it moves freely.
• Schläuche prüfen: Check the inlet and discharge tubing for blockages or signs of wear.
• Zusammenbauen: Reconnect all tubing and plug the pump back into the power outlet.

Perform this cleaning at least once every six months, or more frequently if the condensate quality is poor or the pump is in heavy use.
