Setup und Installation
The Joie Every Stage FX Signature car seat can be installed using your vehicle's seat belt or ISOFIX connectors, depending on the child's weight and age group. Always ensure the car seat is securely fastened and does not move more than 2.5 cm (1 inch) in any direction at the belt path.

Montage mit Fahrzeugsicherheitsgurt:

- Route the vehicle's 3-point seat belt through the designated belt guides. Refer to the labels on the car seat for correct routing based on forward or rearward facing installation.
- Buckle the seat belt and pull the shoulder portion firmly to remove all slack.
- Press down firmly on the car seat while tightening the belt to ensure a secure fit.
Installation with ISOFIX (if applicable for your vehicle and child's weight group):
This model supports ISOFIX installation, which provides a rigid connection to your vehicle's chassis.
- Locate the ISOFIX anchor points in your vehicle.
- Extend the ISOFIX connectors from the car seat until they click onto the vehicle's anchor points. Green indicators will confirm correct attachment.
- Push the car seat firmly against the vehicle seat back to remove any slack.
- Attach the top tether strap (if required for your installation) to the designated anchor point in your vehicle and tighten it.

- The harness height should be adjusted so that the shoulder straps are at or just below your child's shoulders when rear-facing, and at or just above when forward-facing.
- To tighten the harness, pull the adjustment strap at the front of the car seat until the harness is snug.
- To loosen the harness, press the harness release button (usually located under a flap at the front) and pull the shoulder straps outwards.

The car seat offers multiple recline positions for comfort and safety. To adjust, locate the recline lever (typically at the front or base of the seat) and move the seat to the desired position. Ensure the recline is appropriate for your child's age and the installation direction.
