1. Einleitung

This manual provides essential information for the proper setup, operation, and maintenance of your Sceptre Curved 24-inch Gaming Monitor, Model C248W-1920RN-314. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the product to ensure optimal performance and safety.

2. Sicherheitshinweise

• Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Monitor auf einer stabilen, ebenen Fläche steht, um ein versehentliches Herunterfallen zu verhindern.
• Setzen Sie den Monitor weder Regen, Feuchtigkeit noch extremen Temperaturen aus.
• Vermeiden Sie es, die Lüftungsöffnungen zu blockieren, um eine Überhitzung zu vermeiden.
• Verwenden Sie ausschließlich das mit dem Monitor gelieferte Netzteil.
• Bei Gewittern oder längerer Nichtbenutzung sollte das Gerät vom Stromnetz getrennt werden.

4. Einrichtung

4.1 Montage des Ständers

1. Nehmen Sie den Monitor vorsichtig aus der Verpackung.
2. Befestigen Sie den Stativhals am Monitorpanel.
3. Befestigen Sie den Standfuß mit den mitgelieferten Schrauben am Standhals.

4.2 Anschließen des Monitors

Locate the input ports on the back of the monitor (Figure 4.1) and connect the necessary cables.

• Leistung: Schließen Sie das Netzteil an den DC-IN-Anschluss und anschließend an eine Steckdose an.
• Video-Eingang: Connect an HDMI cable to one of the two HDMI 1.4 ports (up to 75 Hz) or a VGA cable to the VGA port (up to 75 Hz) on the monitor and to your computer's corresponding output port.
• Audioeingang: Use the Audio In port to connect an audio source if using VGA.
• Audioausgang: Use the Audio Out port to connect external speakers or headphones.

4.3 Montage (optional)

The monitor is VESA mount compatible. If you choose to wall-mount or use an alternative desk mount, ensure the mount supports the monitor's weight and VESA pattern. Remove the stand before attaching the VESA mount.

5. Bedienungsanleitung

5.1 Ein-/Ausschalten

Drücken Sie den Netzschalter auf der Rückseite des Monitors, um ihn ein- oder auszuschalten. Die Betriebsanzeige leuchtet, wenn der Monitor eingeschaltet ist.

5.2 Bildschirmmenü (OSD)

Use the buttons on the back of the monitor to navigate and adjust settings within the OSD menu. Common adjustments include:

• Bildeinstellungen: Helligkeit, Kontrast, Schärfe und Farbtemperatur anpassen.
• Eingangsauswahl: Choose between HDMI1, HDMI2, or VGA input sources.
• Audioeinstellungen: Die Lautstärke der eingebauten Lautsprecher oder angeschlossener Audiogeräte regeln.
• OSD-Einstellungen: OSD-Sprache, Transparenz und Timeout anpassen.

5.3 Bildwiederholrate

The monitor supports a 75Hz refresh rate. To ensure your system is utilizing this, check your computer's display settings. For Windows, navigate to Display Settings > Advanced display settings > Display adapter properties, and select the desired refresh rate.

5.4 Neigungseinstellung

The monitor can be tilted 15 degrees backward and 5 degrees forward. Gently adjust the monitor panel to your preferred viewing-Winkel.

7. Wartung

• Reinigen des Bildschirms: Wischen Sie den Bildschirm vorsichtig mit einem weichen, fusselfreien Tuch ab. Bei hartnäckigen Flecken verwenden Sie eine Bildschirmreinigungslösung, die Sie auf das Tuch und nicht direkt auf den Bildschirm auftragen.
• Reinigung des Casing: Verwenden Sie ein weiches, trockenes Tuch, um den Bildschirm des Monitors zu reinigen.asing. Vermeiden Sie scheuernde Reinigungsmittel.

8. Fehlerbehebung

• Kein Strom: Ensure the power cable is securely connected to the monitor and a working power outlet. Check the power adapter for damage.
• Kein Signal: Verify that the video cable (HDMI or VGA) is correctly connected to both the monitor and your computer. Ensure the correct input source is selected via the OSD menu.
• Kein Ton: Check the monitor's volume settings and your computer's audio output settings. Ensure external speakers/headphones are properly connected to the Audio Out port if used.
• Picture Problems (e.g., blurry, distorted): Adjust resolution and refresh rate in your computer's display settings. Ensure the video cable is not damaged.
