Aufstellen
1. Kraftstoff-Öl-Gemisch
The Stiga SP 375 Q uses a 2-stroke gasoline engine. It requires a specific mixture of unleaded gasoline and 2-stroke engine oil. Refer to the engine oil manufacturer's instructions for the correct mixing ratio, typically 50:1 (2% oil) or 25:1 (4% oil) depending on the oil type. Always use fresh, high-quality fuel and oil.

2. Chain Lubrication Oil
The chainsaw features an automatic oil pump for chain lubrication. Fill the chain oil reservoir with high-quality bar and chain oil. Do not use waste oil or motor oil, as this can damage the pump and chain.
3. Chain Installation and Tensioning
Ensure the guide bar and chain are correctly installed. The Stiga SP 375 Q features tool-less chain tensioning.
- Loosen the side cover knob.
- Adjust the chain tensioning screw until the chain fits snugly against the guide bar, but can still be pulled freely by hand. There should be a small gap (approx. 2-3 mm) between the chain and the underside of the guide bar when lifted.
- Tighten the side cover knob securely.
- Check chain tension again after a few cuts, as new chains can stretch.

Betrieb
1. Starten des Motors
Always place the chainsaw on a firm, flat surface before starting. Ensure the chain brake is engaged.

To stop the engine, simply move the ignition switch to the "STOP" position. Engage the chain brake immediately after stopping the engine.

- Luftfilter: Clean the air filter regularly, especially in dusty conditions. A clogged air filter can reduce engine performance.
- Kühlrippen: Keep the engine's cooling fins free of sawdust and debris to prevent overheating.
- Guide Bar Groove: Clean the groove of the guide bar to ensure proper chain lubrication and movement.
3. Zündkerze
Inspect and clean the spark plug periodically. Replace it if it is fouled or worn. Ensure the correct spark plug gap.
4. Speicherung
When storing the chainsaw for an extended period:
