Aufstellen
1. Einlegen der Batterie
The FLIR VT8-600 requires 2 AA batteries for operation, which are included with the device. To install or replace batteries:
- Suchen Sie die Abdeckung des Batteriefachs auf der Rückseite des Geräts.
- Use a suitable tool (e.g., a small screwdriver) to open the battery compartment.
- Legen Sie die 2 AA-Batterien ein und achten Sie dabei auf die richtige Polarität (+/-), wie im Batteriefach angegeben.
- Schließen Sie den Batteriefachdeckel sicher.
2. Messleitungen anschließen
Für Messungen, die Messleitungen erfordern (z. B. Vol.tage, resistance, continuity, capacitance), connect the leads to the appropriate input jacks on the bottom of the device.
- Stecken Sie die schwarze Messleitung in die 'COM'-Buchse (gemeinsamer Anschluss).
- Insert the red test lead into the 'VΩ' jack for voltage, Widerstands-, Durchgangs- und Kapazitätsmessungen.

Bedienungsanleitung
The FLIR VT8-600 features a rotary dial for mode selection and dedicated buttons for additional functions.
1. Ein-/Ausschalten und Modusauswahl
Turn the rotary dial to the desired measurement function to power on the device. Turn the dial to 'OFF' to power off the device.
2. Messfunktionen
- AC/DC-Voltage Measurement (V∼ / V—)
Wählen Sie die Lautstärketage mode on the rotary dial. Connect the test leads in parallel to the circuit or component to measure voltage. The device supports up to 600V. - AC/DC Current Measurement (A∼ / A—)
Select the current mode on the rotary dial. Use the open jaw to clamp around a single conductor to measure current. The device supports up to 100A. Ensure the conductor is centered within the jaw for accurate readings.

- Resistance Measurement (Ω)
Select the resistance mode. Connect the test leads across the component when it is de-energized. - Continuity Test (⚡)
Select the continuity mode. Place the test leads across the circuit or component. A continuous tone indicates continuity. - Capacitance Measurement (‡)
Select the capacitance mode. Connect the test leads across the capacitor. Ensure the capacitor is discharged before testing.
3. Sonderfunktionen
- MODE-Taste: Toggles between AC and DC measurements or other sub-functions within a mode.
- REL/ZERO-Taste: Used for relative measurements or to zero out the display for current measurements.
