Setup und Installation

Überlegungen zur Platzierung

• Standort: Subwoofers are less directional than full-range speakers, offering more flexibility in placement. Experiment with different wall locations to find the best bass response for your room.
• Bolzen: Use a stud finder to locate wall studs. The subwoofer requires a clear opening between studs. Ensure the chosen location avoids electrical wiring, plumbing, or other obstructions.
• Tiefe: Verify that the wall cavity depth is sufficient for the subwoofer (5.5 inches / 140 mm).

Installationsschritte

1. Mark the Opening: Use the provided template (if included, or measure the speaker dimensions) to trace the cutout area on the wall. Ensure the outline is level.
2. Schneiden Sie die Öffnung aus: Carefully cut along the traced line using a drywall cutter or utility knife.
3. Lautsprecherkabel verlegen: Route CL2-rated speaker wire from your amplifier to the wall opening. Leave enough slack for easy connection.
4. Prepare Mounting Ears: Before inserting the speaker, it is recommended to tighten and then loosen each mounting screw on the speaker's frame. This ensures the mounting ears are free to engage properly.

6. Insert Subwoofer: Carefully insert the subwoofer into the wall opening.

7. Sicherer Subwoofer: Tighten the mounting screws on the front baffle. This will rotate the mounting ears behind the drywall and secure the speaker in place. Do not overtighten.

8. Attach Grill: The subwoofer comes with a paintable magnetic grill. Align the grill with the speaker frame; the magnets will hold it in place. You may paint the grill to match your wall color if desired.
