2.1 Ersteinrichtung

1. Batterien installieren: Open the battery compartment on the back of the receiver and insert 6 AAA batteries (included). Ensure correct polarity.
2. Activate Call Buttons: Pull out the insulation sheet from the call buttons to activate their internal batteries.

2.2 Koppeln der Ruftasten mit dem Empfänger

The system typically comes pre-paired. If re-pairing is needed or if adding new buttons:

1. Klingelton auswählen: On the receiver, press the "Forward" or "Backward" buttons to cycle through the 55 available ringtones until you find your preferred melody.
2. Kopplungsmodus aktivieren: Press and hold the "Volume" button on the receiver until it emits a "Ding-Dong" sound and the indicator light begins to flash. This indicates the receiver is in pairing mode.
3. Pair-Taste: Quickly press the call button you wish to pair. The receiver will make a "Ding-Ding" sound, and its indicator light will flash, confirming successful pairing.
4. Kopplung bestätigen: Press the call button again to verify that the receiver sounds the selected melody. If it does, pairing is complete.

2.3 Platzierung

• Empfänger: Place the receiver in a central location where the alert can be easily heard by the caregiver. Consider areas like the living room, kitchen, or caregiver's bedroom.
• Ruftasten: The call buttons can be worn around the neck using the included strap or secured to a surface using the provided bracket or double-sided adhesive. Common placement areas include:
  • Bettseite
  • Bathroom (due to waterproof design)
  • Living area
  • Near a wheelchair or frequently used chair

3. Bedienungsanleitung

3.1 Verwenden der Anruftaste

To request assistance, simply press the large "CALL" button on the caregiver call button. This will send a signal to the receiver, triggering the selected melody and flashing LED indicator.

3.2 Anpassen der Empfängereinstellungen

• Klingeltonauswahl: Use the "Forward" and "Backward" buttons on the side of the receiver to scroll through the 55 available melodies.
• Lautstärkeregelung: Press the "Volume" button on the side of the receiver to adjust the sound level. There are 5 adjustable volume levels, ranging from 0 dB (mute) to 110 dB.
• Visueller Alarm: The receiver features an LED light melody indicator that flashes when an alert is received, providing a visual cue in addition to the audio.

4. Wartung

4.1 Reinigung

Wipe the surfaces of the receiver and call buttons with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Ensure the devices are dry before re-installing batteries or using them.

4.2 Batteriewechsel

• Empfänger: The receiver requires 6 AAA batteries. Replace all batteries simultaneously when the indicator light dims or the sound becomes weak.
• Ruftasten: The call buttons use a 12V (DC) battery. Replace the battery when the button's indicator light does not illuminate or the signal range decreases significantly. Refer to Figure 2.1 for battery compartment access on the receiver.

The system features a memory function, retaining your last selected ringtone even after battery replacement.

5. Fehlerbehebung

• Kein Ton vom Empfänger:
  • Check if the receiver's volume is set to mute (0 dB). Adjust the volume using the "Volume" button.
  • Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Batterien korrekt eingesetzt und nicht entladen sind. Tauschen Sie sie gegebenenfalls aus.
  • Verify that the call button is properly paired with the receiver (refer to Section 2.2).
• Begrenzte Reichweite:
  • Replace batteries in both the call button and receiver.
  • Ensure there are no significant metal objects or thick walls obstructing the signal path between the call button and receiver.
  • Platzieren Sie den Empfänger an einer zentraleren Stelle.
• Rufknopf reagiert nicht:
  • Check the call button's battery. Replace if needed.
