1. Einleitung

Store fuel and the machine properly to prevent fire hazards. Always follow manufacturer instructions for safe handling, storage, and use.

3. Montage und Einrichtung

3.1 Auspacken

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Verify that all parts are present according to the packing list (refer to your product's specific packing list, not provided here). Report any missing or damaged parts to DK2 customer service immediately.

3.2 Lenkermontage

1. Attach the handlebar assembly to the main frame using the provided bolts and nuts. Ensure all connections are secure.
2. Connect the throttle cable and other control cables to their respective levers on the handlebar.

3.3 Fluid Levels

• Motoröl: Check the engine oil level using the dipstick. Fill with recommended engine oil (refer to engine manual for specifications) to the appropriate level.
• Kraftstoff: Füllen Sie den Kraftstofftank mit frischem, bleifreiem Benzin. Nicht überfüllen.

4. Bedienungsanleitung

4.1 Checkliste vor der Operation

• Stellen Sie sicher, dass alle Sicherheitsvorkehrungen getroffen und gesichert sind.
• Check for any loose fasteners or damaged components.
• Verify engine oil and fuel levels.
• Clear the trenching path of any obstacles, rocks, or debris. Mark any underground utilities.

4.2 Motor starten

1. Den Chokehebel in die Position "CHOKE" bringen (wenn der Motor kalt ist).
2. Bewegen Sie den Gashebel in die Position „FAST“.
3. Den Motorschalter in die Position „EIN“ drehen.
4. Ziehen Sie den Seilzugstarterhebel fest, bis der Motor anspringt.
5. Sobald der Motor anspringt, bewegen Sie den Chokehebel allmählich in die Position „RUN“.

4.3 Trenching Operation

• Tiefeneinstellung: The trencher features 5 depth positions. Adjust the trenching depth using the depth adjustment mechanism (refer to Figure 3).
• Engaging the Chain: With the engine running at operating speed, engage the trenching chain lever.
• Graben: Slowly lower the trenching chain into the ground. Allow the auto-feed auger to pull the machine forward. Do not force the machine.
• Anhalten: To stop trenching, disengage the chain lever, then reduce engine speed and turn off the engine.

5. Wartung

Regular maintenance is crucial for the longevity and safe operation of your trencher.

5.1 Motorwartung

• Ölwechsel: Das Motoröl sollte nach den ersten 5 Betriebsstunden gewechselt werden, danach alle 25-50 Betriebsstunden oder jährlich.
• Luftfilter: Reinigen oder ersetzen Sie den Luftfilter regelmäßig, insbesondere bei staubigen Bedingungen.

• Kettenspannung: Check and adjust chain tension regularly. A properly tensioned chain should have minimal slack.
