4. Einrichtung

The mandoline features integrated blades for various cuts. To select a cut type:

  1. Locate the blade type selector knobs on the side of the mandoline.
  2. Push or pull the knobs to engage the desired blade configuration for julienne, matchstick, or dicing. For simple slicing, ensure these blades are disengaged.

5.3 Schneideverfahren

  1. Prepare your food by washing and peeling if necessary. Cut larger items to fit comfortably into the food chute.
  2. Place the food item into the food chute.
  3. Position the food pusher on top of the food item.
  4. With one hand holding the mandoline steady, use the other hand to press down on the food pusher and push the food item through the blades. Repeat this motion until the entire item is sliced.
  5. The sliced food will collect in the food catch container below.
