The disc guard must always be used for safety and adjusted to direct sparks away from you.

1. Place the disc guard onto the collar of the gear housing.
2. Rotate the guard to the desired position, ensuring it covers the top of the disc and directs sparks away from the operator.

• Schleifen: Hold the tool at an angle of approximately 15-30 degrees to the workpiece. Apply moderate pressure and move the tool evenly across the surface.
• Schneiden: Hold the tool at a 90-degree angle to the workpiece. Apply light, even pressure. Do not tilt the cutting disc, as this can cause it to jam or break.
