7. Fehlerbehebung
If you encounter issues with your Live Gamer Bolt, refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:
- Device Not Detected / No Signal:
- Ensure the Thunderbolt 3 cable is securely connected to a native Thunderbolt 3 port on your computer. The device is not compatible with standard USB-C ports.
- Verify that the HDMI IN and HDMI OUT cables are correctly connected and securely seated.
- Check your computer's Device Manager (Windows) or System Information (macOS) to confirm the device is recognized.
- Update your computer's Thunderbolt 3 drivers and the Live Gamer Bolt's firmware/drivers from the AVerMedia webWebsite.
- No HDR Recording on Mac:
- HDR recording is not supported on macOS platforms with the Live Gamer Bolt. This is a known limitation.
- Incompatibility with Apple M1/M2 CPUs:
- The Live Gamer Bolt is not compatible with Apple Silicon (M1 or M2) platforms. Ensure you are using an Intel-based Mac that meets the system requirements.
- HDR Issues with HDMI Switches/Matrices:
- Some HDMI switches, matrices, or receivers may interfere with HDR signal passthrough, especially at higher chroma subsampling rates (e.g., 4K60Hz 4:4:4). Try connecting the console directly to the Live Gamer Bolt, bypassing intermediate devices, or adjust the output settings of your source device to a lower chroma subsampling if necessary.
- HDCP Detection Issues:
- If you encounter issues with HDCP (High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection) preventing capture, check the settings within AVerMedia RECentral 4. There may be an option to disable HDCP detection for certain scenarios.
- Device Stops Working / Overheating / Fan Noise:
- Sorgen Sie für ausreichende Belüftung rund um das Gerät.
- If the device consistently stops working, overheats, or exhibits unusual fan noise, contact AVerMedia customer support for assistance. This may indicate a hardware issue.
