5. Einrichtung

5.1 Einlegen der Batterie

1. Suchen Sie die Abdeckung des Batteriefachs auf der Rückseite des Geräts.
2. Schieben Sie die Abdeckung auf.
3. Legen Sie zwei AAA-Batterien mit 1.5 V ein und achten Sie dabei auf die richtige Polarität (+/-).

Note: Always use new batteries and replace both batteries at the same time. Remove batteries if the device will not be used for an extended period.

6. Bedienungsanleitung

6.1 Ein-/Ausschalten

• Zum Einschalten: Drücken Sie die Taste ON / READ Taste.
• Zum Ausschalten: Die Taste gedrückt halten OFF / Return Halten Sie die Taste 2 Sekunden lang gedrückt, andernfalls schaltet sich das Gerät nach 180 Sekunden Inaktivität automatisch ab.

6.2 Maßeinheiten ändern

The device supports meters (m), inches (in), and feet (ft) with fractional display. To change units:

The measurement can be taken from the front or the rear edge of the device.

6.4 Grundlegende Messung (Einzeldistanz)

1. Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Gerät eingeschaltet ist.

This mode is useful for finding the shortest or longest distance from a fixed point.

2. Slowly sweep the laser across the desired area. The display will show the current, minimum, and maximum measured distances.

1. Drücken Sie die Fläche/Volumen/Pythagoreisch button once to enter Area measurement mode. A square icon will appear on the display.
2. Measure the length: Press ON / READ.

6.7 Volumenmessung

6.8.1 2-Point Pythagorean Measurement (Height)

1. Drücken Sie die Fläche/Volumen/Pythagoreisch button three times. The display will show a right-angle triangle icon with two sides to be measured.
2. Measure the hypotenuse (distance from device to top of object): Press ON / READ.
3. Measure the base (distance from device to bottom of object, ensuring the device remains level): Press ON / READ.
4. The device will calculate and display the height.

6.8.2 3-Point Pythagorean Measurement (Height)

1. Drücken Sie die Fläche/Volumen/Pythagoreisch button four times. The display will show a right-angle triangle icon with three sides to be measured.
2. Measure the first hypotenuse (distance from device to top of object): Press ON / READ.
3. Measure the second hypotenuse (distance from device to middle point of object): Press ON / READ.
4. Measure the base (distance from device to bottom of object, ensuring the device remains level): Press ON / READ.
5. The device will calculate and display the height.

6.9 Addition und Subtraktion

Sie können Messwerte addieren oder voneinander subtrahieren.

1. Führe eine Messung durch.
2. Drücken Sie die +/- UNIT button once for addition (+) or twice for subtraction (-).
3. Führen Sie die nächste Messung durch.
4. Das Ergebnis der Addition oder Subtraktion wird angezeigt.

6.10 Datenspeicherung und -abruf

• To recall stored data: Press the OFF / Return button repeatedly when not in a measurement mode to cycle through the stored records.

6.11 Mute-Funktion

The mute function allows for silent operation, ideal for quiet environments.

• Halten Sie die Reference Point / Mute button for 2 seconds to toggle the sound on/off. A speaker icon with a cross will indicate mute mode.

6.12 Automatische Kalibrierung

The device features an auto-calibration function to maintain accuracy. If you suspect the accuracy is off, you can adjust it.
