2. Installationsanleitung

2.1 Auspacken und erste Montage

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure all parts are present: the main feeder unit, stainless steel food bowl, power adapter, and USB cable.

2.2 Schritte zur Wi-Fi-Verbindung

The PETKIT automatic cat feeder is compatible with 2.4GHz WiFi networks only.

1. Download and open the PETKIT App on your smartphone.
2. In the app, click the "+" icon to add a new device (the cat feeder).
3. Observe the Wi-Fi indicator light on the device. Ensure it is flashing frequently.
4. In the app, select your working Wi-Fi network and enter the correct password. Click "OK".
5. Click "Set-up" to navigate to your phone's Wi-Fi settings page and connect directly to the feeder's temporary Wi-Fi network.
6. Return to the PETKIT App and wait for the connection process to complete.
7. A "Connection successful" message will appear in the app once the feeder is connected.

3. Bedienung

3.1 Remote-App-Steuerung

The PETKIT App allows you to monitor and control your feeder from anywhere. You can customize your pet's feeding plan with up to 10 meals per day, dispensing 1 to 10 portions per meal. The app also provides real-time feeding status updates.

• Schedule meals: Set specific times and portion sizes for automated feeding.
• Manual feeding: Dispense food instantly with a tap in the app or by pressing the manual feeding button on the device.

4.2 Freshness Maintenance

The feeder incorporates a multiple fresh lock system to keep food dry and fresh:

• Silicone Sealed Door: Insulates air and prevents food oxidation.
• Built-in Desiccant Box: Keeps food dry and avoids moisture. Replace the desiccant regularly as indicated by the app reminder.

5. Fehlerbehebung

5.1 Food Dispensing Issues

If the feeder is not dispensing food consistently:

5.2 WLAN-Verbindungsprobleme

If you experience difficulty connecting to Wi-Fi or maintaining a connection:

• 2.4-GHz-Netzwerk: Confirm your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz. The feeder does not support 5GHz networks.
• Nähe: During setup, ensure your phone, router, and the PETKIT device are in the same room and within several feet of each other.
• Router Support: If the device cannot receive Wi-Fi information, your router may have poor support for the current mode. Consider resetting your router or checking its settings.
