This manual provides detailed instructions for the installation, setup, and operation of your SECULINK 16-Channel 4K Network Video Recorder (NVR). This NVR supports up to 16 IP cameras with resolutions up to 8MP (4K) and utilizes H.265+ compression for efficient storage. It features motion detection recording, multiple storage options, and remote access capabilities via a mobile application.

Aufstellen

The NVR requires a wired Ethernet connection to your router for operation. Ensure your IP cameras are also connected to the same network.

Festplatteninstallation

A hard drive is required for local video storage. Follow these steps to install a 3.5" SATA HDD (not included).

  1. Unscrew the Cover: Power off the NVR and disconnect all cables. Carefully twist down the screws on the NVR casing to remove the top cover.
  2. Connect HDD Cables: Connect the SATA data and power cables from the NVR to the corresponding ports on your hard drive.
  3. Secure the HDD: Place the hard drive inside the NVR chassis and secure it using the provided screws.
  4. Abdeckung ersetzen: Reattach the NVR cover and secure it with the screws.
  5. Festplatte formatieren: After powering on the NVR, navigate to the storage settings in the NVR menu and format the newly installed hard drive. This prepares it for recording.

Configure motion detection zones and sensitivity through the NVR's interface. When motion is detected, the NVR can trigger recording and send instant alert messages to your mobile devices via the XMeye app.

Remote Access & Mobile App

Access your NVR and view live oder aufgenommen footage from anywhere using the free XMeye mobile application.
