4. Bedienung

4.1 Vorderseite überview

The front panel of the RD-6 provides access to all controls for sound generation, sequencing, and performance.

4.2 Drum-Voices

The RD-6 features eight distinct analog drum voices:

Each voice has a dedicated level knob. The AKZENT knob globally controls the intensity of accented steps.

4.3 Sequenzierung

The RD-6 features a 16-step sequencer for creating drum patterns.

  1. Instrument auswählen: Drücken Sie die INSTRUMENT button and then one of the 8 instrument buttons (BD, SD, LT/HT, CY/CP, OH/CH) to select the drum voice you wish to program.
  2. Auswahlmodus: Drehen Sie den MODUS Knopf zu WRITE PATTERN.
  3. Enter Steps: Drücken Sie die SCHRITT buttons (1-16) to activate or deactivate the selected instrument on that step. An illuminated LED indicates an active step.
  4. Add Accent: While in WRITE PATTERN mode, hold the AKZENT button and press a STEP button to add an accent to that step.
  5. Speichermuster: After programming, turn the MODUS Knopf zu PLAY PATTERN. The pattern is automatically saved.
  6. Start/Stopp: Drücken Sie die START/STOP button to begin or end pattern playback.
  7. Tempo: Adjust the playback speed using the TEMPO Knopf.

4.4 Pattern Chaining

You can chain multiple patterns to create longer sequences or full songs. The RD-6 supports chaining up to 250 bars.

The RD-6 includes a built-in distortion effect. Use the VERZERRUNG EIN/AUS switch to activate it. Adjust the TON Und EBENE knobs to shape the distortion effect.

5. Wartung

5.1 Reinigung

Clean the unit with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or solvents. Ensure the unit is powered off and unplugged before cleaning.

5.2 Speicherung

When not in use for extended periods, store the RD-6 in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. It is recommended to use the original packaging for storage and transport.
