4. Einrichtung und Installation

4.1 Vorbereiten der microSD-Karte

1. Before first use, it is recommended to format the included 16GB MicroSD card using the IROAD PC Viewer software or directly on the device via the touch screen menu.
2. Insert the MicroSD card into the memory card slot until it clicks into place. Ensure the card is inserted correctly to avoid damage.

4.2 Montage der Dashcam

The IROAD NX7 uses an adhesive mounting method for secure attachment.

1. Choose an optimal location on your windshield, typically behind the rearview Spiegel, um sicherzustellen, dass er Ihre Sicht nicht behindert view.
2. Clean the chosen area on the windshield thoroughly to ensure strong adhesion.
3. Attach the adhesive mount to the dash cam bracket.
4. Peel off the protective film from the adhesive pad and firmly press the dash cam with the mount onto the cleaned windshield area for at least 30 seconds.
5. Repeat the process for the rear camera, mounting it on the rear windshield.

4.3 Stromversorgung anschließen

The IROAD NX7 comes with an OBDⅡ power cable for easy and reliable power supply.

1. Locate your vehicle's OBDⅡ port (usually under the dashboard on the driver's side).
2. Connect the OBDⅡ power cable to the OBDⅡ port.
3. Connect the other end of the OBDⅡ power cable to the DC-IN Power Terminal on the IROAD NX7 front dash cam.
4. Route the power cable neatly along the vehicle's interior trim to avoid interference with driving.
5. Connect the rear camera to the front unit using the provided rear camera connection cable.

5. Bedienungsanleitung

5.1 Ein-/Ausschalten

• The dash cam will automatically power on and begin recording when your vehicle's ignition is turned on, provided it is connected via the OBDⅡ power cable.
• To manually power off, press and hold the Power Switch until the device shuts down.

5.2 Basic Recording Modes

The IROAD NX7 supports continuous recording, event recording, and parking surveillance recording.

• Kontinuierliche Aufnahme: Startet automatisch, sobald das Fahrzeug eingeschaltet wird. Footage is recorded in 1-minute segments and saved to the MicroSD card.
• Event Recording (Impact Recording): In case of a sudden impact or collision, the G-sensor triggers an event recording, saving the footage separately to prevent overwriting.
• Loop Recording (Overwrite Recording): When the MicroSD card is full, the oldest continuous recording files are automatically overwritten to make space for new recordings. Event recordings are protected from overwriting.

5.3 Parking Surveillance Mode

The IROAD NX7 offers 24-hour parking surveillance with advanced features:

• Bewegungserkennung: The dash cam detects motion around the vehicle and automatically records footage.
• Aufprallerkennung: If an impact is detected while parked, the device records and saves the event footage.
• Time-lapse & Hyperlapse: For extended parking surveillance, the dash cam can record in time-lapse mode, compressing long periods into shorter videos, saving storage space.
• Battery Over-discharge Prevention: The dash cam monitors your vehicle's battery voltage and automatically cuts off power if the voltage drops below a set threshold, preventing battery drain.

5.4 Bedienung des Touchscreens

The 3-inch touch panel allows for easy navigation and settings adjustment.

• Tap icons to access menus such as Live View, Playback, Settings, and File Management.
• Swipe to navigate through recorded files.
• Adjust settings like recording resolution, G-sensor sensitivity, parking mode options, and time/date.

5.5 Fortschrittliche Fahrassistenzsysteme (ADAS)

The IROAD NX7 includes ADAS features to enhance driving safety:

• LDWS (Spurhaltewarnsystem): Warnt Sie, wenn Ihr Fahrzeug die Fahrspur verlässt.
• FCWS (Vorwärtskollisionswarnsystem): Warns you of an impending collision with a vehicle ahead.
• FVDW (Front Vehicle Departure Warning): Notifies you when the vehicle in front starts moving from a standstill.

Note: ADAS features are supplementary and should not replace safe driving practices.

5.6 LED Signal Light Compatibility

The IROAD NX7 is designed to record clearly even when facing LED traffic signals, minimizing flicker and ensuring reliable footage.

6. Wartung

6.1 MicroSD-Kartenverwaltung

• Regularly format the MicroSD card (at least once a month) to maintain optimal recording performance and prevent data corruption. This can be done via the dash cam's settings or the IROAD PC Viewäh.
• Use only high-quality, genuine MicroSD cards recommended by IROAD.
• Replace the MicroSD card every 6-12 months, depending on usage, as flash memory has a limited lifespan.
