4.3. Inbetriebnahme

3. Press the 'Prog.' button on the device to put it into programming mode. The programming LED will illuminate.
4. Download the configured application program from ETS to the device.
5. After successful programming, the programming LED will turn off, and the device will begin operation according to the configured parameters.

5. Bedienung

The MDT BE-08230.02 operates by detecting the status of the connected 230V AC contacts or switches. When a contact is closed (e.g., a light switch is pressed), the corresponding input detects the 230V AC signal. This signal is then converted into a KNX telegram and sent onto the bus, triggering the configured action (e.g., turning on a light, opening blinds).

• Input Status LEDs (A-H): These LEDs provide visual feedback on the current status of each input. An illuminated LED typically indicates that the corresponding input is active (e.g., 230V AC detected).
• Programmiertaste: This button is primarily used during the initial setup and configuration process with ETS. It is not used for daily operation.
