5. Installation

Before beginning installation, ensure you have read and understood the safety information in Section 2. This module requires both a live wire (L) and a neutral wire (N) for operation.

5.1 Wiring Diagram for Single Switch Control

1. Stromversorgung trennen: Turn off the main power supply at your circuit breaker to the switch you intend to modify.
2. Drähte identifizieren: Carefully remove your existing wall switch cover. Identify the Live (L), Neutral (N), and Load (L1) wires. If a neutral wire is not present in your switch box, this module cannot be installed.

Connect the Load wire (to your light fixture) to the 'L1' terminal on the module. Connect your existing wall switch wires to the 'S1' and 'S2' terminals on the module.
4. Sicherheitsmodul: Place the module carefully into the flush-mounted electrical box, ensuring no wires are pinched.

5.2 Wiring Diagram for Two-Way Control

The module supports two-way control, allowing a single light to be controlled by two separate physical switches. The wiring for this configuration is shown below.

6. Einrichtung und App-Kopplung

After successful physical installation, the module needs to be paired with the Tuya Smart or Smart Life application.

5. Mit WLAN verbinden: Confirm your 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network and enter the password. The module only supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi networks; 5GHz networks are not compatible.
