Aufstellen

1. Einlegen der Batterie

Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the unit. Insert four (4) AA alkaline batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the cover securely.

2. Anschließen der Armmanschette

Stecken Sie den Luftschlauchverbinder von der Armmanschette fest in die Luftbuchse auf der linken Seite des Monitors.

3. Setting Date and Time (if applicable)

Refer to the specific instructions in your manual for setting the date and time, usually involving pressing the 'MEM' button in a specific sequence while the unit is off or in setup mode.

Bedienungsanleitung

Vorbereitung für die Messung

• Vermeiden Sie es, mindestens 30 Minuten vor der Messung zu essen, Alkohol zu trinken, zu rauchen oder Sport zu treiben.
• Ruhen Sie sich mindestens 5 Minuten aus, bevor Sie eine Messung durchführen.
• Sitzen Sie aufrecht, mit gestütztem Rücken und flach auf dem Boden stehenden Füßen.
• Legen Sie Ihren Arm auf eine ebene Fläche, sodass sich die Manschette auf Herzhöhe befindet.
• Ensure the cuff is applied directly to bare skin, not over clothing.

Anlegen der Armmanschette

1. Schieben Sie Ihren linken Arm durch die Manschettenschlaufe. Der Luftschlauch sollte an der Innenseite Ihres Arms entlang verlaufen.
2. Position the cuff so the bottom edge is approximately 1 inch (2-3 cm) above your elbow.
3. Wrap the cuff snugly around your arm, securing it with the hook and loop fastener. Ensure it is not too tight or too loose.

Durchführen einer Messung

1. With the cuff correctly applied and the unit connected, press the START Taste.
2. Die Manschette bläst sich automatisch auf. Bitte bleiben Sie während der Messung ruhig und verhalten Sie sich still.
3. Sobald die Messung abgeschlossen ist, entleert sich die Manschette, und Ihr systolischer Blutdruck, diastolischer Blutdruck und Ihre Pulsfrequenz werden auf dem Bildschirm angezeigt.
4. Das Gerät speichert den Messwert automatisch in seinem Speicher.
5. Drücken Sie die START button again to turn off the unit, or it will automatically shut off after 1 minute of inactivity.

The SmartHeart monitor stores previous readings for easy review.

ViewGespeicherte Messwerte abrufen

• From the OFF state, press the MEM Taste.
• Der aktuellste Messwert wird zuerst angezeigt.
• Drücken Sie die MEM button repeatedly to scroll through older readings.
• The unit will display the average of the last three readings (if available) before showing individual readings.

Speicher löschen

To clear all stored readings, press and hold the MEM button for approximately 5 seconds while in memory recall mode until "CLR" or "---" appears on the display, indicating memory has been cleared.

Wartung und Pflege

• Clean the monitor unit and cuff with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse in water.
• Store the unit in its storage bag in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
• Um ein Auslaufen zu verhindern, entfernen Sie die Batterien, wenn das Gerät längere Zeit nicht benutzt wird.
• Do not drop or subject the unit to strong impacts.
• Regularly check the air tube and cuff for any signs of damage or wear.
