3. Einrichtung und Installation

The CIARRA CAB75502 is designed for wall-mounted installation and can be configured for both ducted and ductless operation. All necessary installation accessories are included.

3.1 Installation Type: Ducted vs. Ductless

• Abluftmodus: Exhausts air outside through a duct pipe. This mode provides the most effective ventilation. The necessary duct pipe is included.
• Ductless Mode (Recirculation): Filters air through an optional carbon filter (model CACF003, sold separately) and recirculates it back into the kitchen. This is suitable when external venting is not possible.

3.2 Wandmontage

4.2 Gestensteuerung

The gesture control allows for hands-free operation, ideal when your hands are busy or soiled during cooking.

• To Turn On / Adjust Speed: Wave your hand across the gesture control sensing area (typically from left to right) to turn on the hood and cycle through fan speeds.
• Ausschalten: Wave your hand across the gesture control sensing area (typically from right to left) to turn off the hood.

4.3 Berührungssteuerung

The touch control panel provides precise command over the range hood's functions.

• Stromschalter: Drücken Sie diese Taste, um die Dunstabzugshaube ein- oder auszuschalten.
• Lüfterdrehzahlregelung: Select from 3 speed levels (1, 2, 3) to adjust suction power. Level 1 is for light cooking, Level 3 for heavy smoke and odors.

4.4 Timer-Funktion

The timer function allows the range hood to operate for a set period before automatically shutting off.

• Press the timer button repeatedly to cycle through preset shut-off times (e.g., 5, 10, 15, 20 minutes).
• The selected time will be displayed, and the timer indicator will flash.
• To cancel the timer, press the timer button until the display shows '0' or the indicator stops flashing.

4.5 Clean & Fresh Function

This function helps maintain a fresh kitchen environment by periodically activating the fan at a low speed.

• To activate: Turn on the range hood, press the timer button for 3 seconds, then press the power button.
• The hood will periodically run at a low speed to refresh the air.
