Aufstellen

1. Einlegen der Batterie

The Sofirn SP36 Pro comes with batteries pre-installed. Before first use, it is crucial to remove the insulation paper located between the battery and the flashlight body. To do this:

1. Schrauben Sie die Endkappe der Taschenlampe ab.
2. Carefully remove the orange insulation paper disc.
3. Schrauben Sie die Endkappe wieder fest auf.

2. Laden des Akkus

The flashlight is equipped with a USB-C charging port. Use the provided USB-C cable to charge the batteries.

• Open the rubber flap and insert the USB-C cable.
• Connect the other end of the cable to a 5V 2A USB power source.

Basic Operation (Simple UI)

• Ein-/Ausschalten: Klicken Sie einmal auf den Seitenschalter.
• Helligkeitsanpassung (Ramping): While the flashlight is ON, press and hold the switch to smoothly ramp the brightness up or down. Release the button at your desired brightness level.
• Turbo Modus: From ON, double-click to activate Turbo mode (8000 lumens). Double-click again to return to the previous brightness.
• Momentan niedriger Wert: From OFF, press and hold the switch for a momentary low light. Release to turn off.
• Aussperrung: From OFF, 4 clicks to activate lockout mode. Repeat 4 clicks to unlock.
• Speicherfunktion: The flashlight will remember the last used brightness level when turned off and will return to it when turned back on.

Wartung

• Reinigung: Wipe the flashlight with a clean, soft cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
• O-Ringe: Regularly inspect the O-rings for wear and tear. Lubricate them with silicone grease to maintain water resistance. Replace O-rings if damaged (spare O-rings are provided).
• Themen: Keep the threads clean and lightly lubricated to ensure smooth operation and proper sealing.
• Wasserbeständigkeit: The SP36 Pro is IPX8 waterproof, meaning it can be submerged up to 2 meters. Ensure all caps and covers are securely tightened before exposing to water.
• Schlagfestigkeit: The flashlight is impact resistant up to 1 meter. While durable, avoid unnecessary drops to prolong its lifespan.

Fehlerbehebung

If you encounter issues with your Sofirn SP36 Pro, please refer to the following common solutions:

• Taschenlampe schaltet sich nicht ein:
  • Ensure the insulation paper has been removed from between the battery and the body.
  • Check if the batteries are properly inserted with correct polarity.
  • Verify that the batteries are charged. Connect the flashlight to the USB-C charger.
  • Confirm the tail cap and head are screwed on tightly. Loose connections can prevent operation.
  • Check if the flashlight is in lockout mode (4 clicks from OFF to unlock).
• Flashlight Gets Warm:
  • It is normal for the flashlight to generate heat, especially on higher lumen settings (e.g., Turbo mode). This is due to the powerful LED output.
  • The Anduril UI 2 includes thermal regulation to prevent overheating. If the flashlight becomes too hot, it will automatically reduce brightness.
  • Consider using lower brightness modes for extended periods to reduce heat generation.
