Setup und Installation
Proper installation is crucial for the optimal performance of your hardwire kit. Follow these steps carefully:
Checkliste vor der Installation
- Ensure your vehicle's engine is completely off.
- Disconnect the negative terminal of your car battery to prevent short circuits during installation.
- Confirm your dash cam uses a USB-C port for power.
Identifying Fuse Box and Ground Point
Locate your vehicle's interior fuse box, typically found near the driver's side dashboard or footwell. You may need to remove a panel to access it. Use the provided trim removal tool for this purpose.

Identify a suitable ground point, usually a metal bolt or screw on the vehicle's chassis near the fuse box. This is where the black ground wire from the hardwire kit will be connected.
Kabelverbindungen
The hardwire kit includes three wires: red (ACC), yellow (B+), and black (Ground). You will use the appropriate fuse taps to connect the red and yellow wires to your fuse box.
- Yellow Wire (B+ / Battery Positive): Connect this to a fuse that provides constant power, even when the vehicle is off. This is essential for parking surveillance.
- Red Wire (ACC / Accessory Power): Connect this to a fuse that only receives power when the vehicle's ignition is on (e.g., cigarette lighter fuse). This signals the dash cam to switch between driving and parking modes.

Cable Routing and Testing

24/7 Parkplatzüberwachung
When connected to a constant power source (B+ wire), the hardwire kit allows your dash cam to monitor your vehicle even when the engine is off. This protects against theft and records incidents in the parking lot.

Niedrige Lautstärketage-Schutz
The kit features a smart low voltage protection system. It will automatically shut off power to your dash cam if the car battery voltage drops to 11.6V (for 12V systems) or 22.8V (for 24V systems). This prevents draining your vehicle's battery, ensuring you can always start your car.
