4.1 Waterproofing and Care

The call button units (both wrist pager and separate button) are IP55 splash-proof, meaning they can withstand splashes of water, making them suitable for use in bathrooms or near sinks. However, they cannot be fully immersed in water and should be removed before bathing or showering to prevent damage.

4.2 Batteriewechsel

The call buttons require 12V batteries (2 included with the system). While the receiver plugs into a wall outlet, the call buttons are battery-powered. Information regarding battery replacement for the call buttons can be found in the comprehensive user guide (PDF) or by contacting customer support.

4.3 Reinigung

Clean the devices with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the surface.

5. Fehlerbehebung

If you encounter issues with your Daytech Wireless Caregiver Pager System, consider the following common troubleshooting steps:

  • Keine Benachrichtigung vom Empfänger:
    • Stellen Sie sicher, dass der Empfänger fest an eine funktionierende Steckdose angeschlossen ist.
    • Check the battery in the call button. Replace if necessary.
    • Verify that the call button and receiver are properly paired. Refer to the pairing instructions in the full user guide.
    • Ensure the receiver's volume is not set to 0.
  • Begrenzte Reichweite:
    • Obstacles such as thick walls, metal structures, or other electronic devices can interfere with the signal. Try repositioning the receiver or call button.
    • Ensure the battery in the call button is not low, as this can affect signal strength.
  • Unexpected Alerts/Unit Resets:
    • Stromanschlusstages can sometimes cause the unit to reset or emit an alert. Consider using a power backup for the receiver if frequent power interruptions occur in your area.
