4. Einrichtung
4.1 Einlegen der Batterie
The Testo 545 requires 3 AA batteries for operation. The battery compartment is located on the rear of the main unit.
- Suchen Sie die Abdeckung des Batteriefachs auf der Rückseite des Geräts.
- Open the cover by sliding or unlatching it as indicated.
- Insert 3 AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as marked inside the compartment.
- Schließen Sie den Batteriefachdeckel fest.
4.2 Erstes Einschalten
After installing the batteries, the device is ready for its first use.
- Press and hold the power button (usually marked with an ON/OFF symbol) until the display illuminates.
- The device will perform a brief self-test.
- Ensure the external sensor is securely connected to the main unit via its cable.

4.3 App-Verbindung
The Testo 545 can connect to a smartphone or tablet via the Testo Smart App for enhanced functionality.
- Download the "Testo Smart App" from your device's app store (Google Play Store for Android, Apple App Store for iOS).
- Stellen Sie sicher, dass Bluetooth auf Ihrem Smartphone/Tablet aktiviert ist.
- Power on the Testo 545.
- Open the Testo Smart App and follow the on-screen instructions to search for and connect to your Testo 545 device.

5. Bedienungsanleitung
5.1 Basic Illuminance Measurement
To take a basic illuminance reading:
- Power on the Testo 545.
- Position the external sensor at the point where you wish to measure illuminance. Ensure the sensor's light-sensitive surface is facing the light source and is not obstructed.
- Allow a few seconds for the reading to stabilize on the display.
- The current illuminance value will be shown in Lux (lx).

5.2 Erweiterte Messfunktionen
The Testo 545 offers advanced functions accessible via the device's buttons or the Testo Smart App.
- Time and Point Averages: The device automatically calculates and displays time and point averages. Refer to the on-screen menu or app interface for specific options to view these averages.
- Hold-Funktion: Press the "HOLD" button (if available, or via app) to freeze the current reading on the display. Press again to release.
- Minimal-/Maximalwerte: The device can track and display minimum and maximum measured values during a measurement session. Access this feature through the menu.
- Datenprotokollierung: When connected to the Testo Smart App, you can log measurement data over time for analysis and reporting.

6. Wartung
6.1 Gerät reinigen
To ensure optimal performance and longevity of your Testo 545:
- Wischen Sie das Gerät und den Sensor mit einem weichen, fusselfreien Tuch ab.amp Tuch. Keine Scheuer- oder Lösungsmittel verwenden.
- Ensure the sensor's light-sensitive surface is kept clean and free of dust, fingerprints, or smudges, as these can affect measurement accuracy.
- Do not immerse the device or sensor in water.
6.2 Speicherung
When not in use, store the Testo 545 in its transport bag in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
6.3 Batteriewechsel
Tauschen Sie die Batterien aus, sobald die Anzeige für niedrigen Batteriestand erscheint. Hinweise zum Einlegen der Batterien finden Sie in Abschnitt 4.1.
