Follow these steps to correctly assemble and install your MAONO BA92 Low Profile Microphone Boom Arm.
1.1. Schreibtisch Clamp Installation
Der Schreibtisch clamp securely attaches the boom arm to your desktop. Ensure your desk thickness is between 0.8 and 2.36 inches for proper fit.
- Unscrew the table clamp to create a gap suitable for your desk thickness.

1.2. Assembling the Boom Arm Sections
The boom arm consists of two main sections that connect to the desk clamp and to each other.
- Insert the first strut (arm section) into the round hole of the desk clamp.
- Connect the second strut (the one with the "maono" logo) to the first strut. Ensure a secure fit.

1.3. Anschließen des Mikrofons
The MAONO BA92 boom arm is compatible with most microphones using standard 3/8" or 5/8" threaded connections.
- Attach the steering rod (ball head adapter) to the end of the boom arm. Loosen the bolt on the steering rod slightly before installation, then tighten it once the rod is in place.
- Screw your microphone onto the 5/8" threaded mount of the steering rod. If your microphone uses a 3/8" thread, use the included adapter.

1.4. Kabelmanagement
The boom arm features built-in cable management channels to keep your workspace tidy.
- Locate the removable covers on the underside of the boom arm sections.
- Carefully open the covers and route your microphone cable through the designated channels.
- Close the covers securely to conceal the cable.

2.1. Adjusting Arm Position
The boom arm features 360° rotation at the base and joints, along with -90° to +90° tilt for precise microphone placement.
- Drehung: Gently rotate the arm sections to move the microphone horizontally across your workspace.
- Neigung: Adjust the tilt of the microphone at the steering rod to achieve the desired angle for speaking or recording.
- Höhe: The arm can extend from below your screen level to higher positions, providing an unobstructed view and saving desk space.

2.2. Storing the Arm
When not in use, the folding arm design allows for compact storage.
- Fold the arm sections inward towards the desk clamp.

4. Fehlerbehebung

- Schwierigkeiten mit dem Kabelmanagement: If thicker XLR cables do not fit easily, ensure they are properly aligned within the channels before attempting to close the covers. Avoid forcing the covers shut.
- Microphone Instability: Ensure the microphone is securely screwed onto the 3/8" or 5/8" threaded mount. Check that the steering rod's bolt is tightened.
