5. Einrichtung
5.1 Auspacken und Aufstellen
- Entfernen Sie sämtliches Verpackungsmaterial.
- Place the fogger on a flat, stable surface near the terrarium. Ensure there is enough space around the unit for proper ventilation.
5.2 Füllen des Wassertanks
- Heben Sie den Wassertank aus der Basiseinheit.
- Schrauben Sie den Deckel am Boden des Tanks ab.
- Fill the tank with clean, distilled, or demineralized water. Do not exceed the maximum fill line.
- Schrauben Sie die Kappe wieder fest zu.
- Setzen Sie den gefüllten Wassertank wieder auf die Basiseinheit und achten Sie darauf, dass er richtig sitzt.
5.3 Connecting the Hose and Sensor
- Connect one end of the flexible hose to the mist outlet nozzle on the top of the fogger.
- Route the other end of the hose into your terrarium, positioning the mist outlet where desired.
- Plug the external temperature and humidity sensor probe into its designated port on the base unit.
- Place the sensor inside the terrarium, away from the direct mist path, to accurately measure ambient conditions.
5.4 Stromanschluss
- Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet. The unit will beep, and the display will illuminate.
6. Bedienung
6.1 Bedienfeld und Fernbedienung
The fogger can be operated via the touch screen control panel on the base unit or the included remote control. Both offer similar functionalities.
- SET/ON/OFF Button: Powers the unit on/off and enters setting modes.
- OK-Taste: Confirms selections in setting modes.
- Schaltflächen „+“ und „-“: Adjust values (time, humidity, mist level) and navigate menus.
6.2-Betriebsmodi
The REPTITRIP Fogger offers two main operating modes: Timing-Funktion Und Feuchtigkeitsmodus. These modes operate independently.

6.2.1 Zeitschaltfunktion
This mode allows you to schedule humidification cycles based on specific intervals and durations.
- Drücken Sie die SATZ button to enter the timing settings.
- Verwenden Sie die '+' Und '-' Tasten zum Einstellen der Frequenz (interval between humidification cycles, from 1 hour to 7 days). Press OK zur Bestätigung.
- Legen Sie die Dauer (how long the fogger will mist during each cycle, from 10 seconds to 1 hour). Press OK zur Bestätigung.

6.2.2 Humidity Mode (Constant Humidity)
This mode maintains a desired humidity range by automatically turning the fogger on and off based on sensor readings.

- The fogger will now automatically activate when humidity drops below the minimum and stop when it reaches the maximum. The current humidity value will be displayed.

6.3 Fog Adjustment
The fogger offers three levels of mist output, allowing you to control the rate of humidification.
- In either Timing or Humidity mode, use the '+' Und '-' buttons on the control panel or remote to cycle through the three mist levels.
- Mist levels correspond to approximately 100ml/hr, 200ml/hr, and 300ml/hr water consumption.

6.4 Automatische Abschaltung
The REPTITRIP Fogger is equipped with an automatic shut-off feature. When the water level in the tank is too low, an icon will appear on the display, and the atomizer will automatically power down to prevent damage and ensure safety.
7. Wartung
Regular cleaning is essential for optimal performance and longevity of your fogger.
7.1 Cleaning the Water Tank and Base Unit

- Empty any remaining water from the tank and the base unit.
- Wipe the inside of the water tank and the base unit (especially the transducer/atomizer disc) with a soft cloth.
- For mineral buildup, use a solution of white vinegar and water (1:1 ratio). Let it soak for 15-20 minutes, then gently scrub with a soft brush and rinse thoroughly.
