Follow these steps carefully to install your ECOELER Countdown Timer Switch. If you are not comfortable performing electrical work, please consult a qualified electrician.

Vorinstallation

1. Strom ausschalten: Locate your circuit breaker panel and turn off the power to the switch box where you will be installing the timer. Verify that the power is off using a voltage Tester.
2. Vorhandenen Switch entfernen: Carefully remove the screws holding the existing wall plate and switch. Gently pull the switch out of the wall box.
3. Drähte identifizieren: Identify the wires connected to your existing switch. Typically, you will find:
   • Hot Wire: Usually black, brings power from the circuit breaker.
   • Lastkabel: Usually black or red, carries power to the light/fan.
   • Neutralleiter: Normalerweise weiß. A neutral wire is required for this timer switch.

Kabelverbindungen

Connect the wires from the wall box to the ECOELER Countdown Timer Switch as follows:

1. Verbinden Sie Rotes Kabel from the timer to the Lastdraht from the wall box using a wire nut.
2. Verbinden Sie Schwarzes Kabel from the timer to the Heißer Draht from the wall box using a wire nut.
3. Verbinden Sie Weißer Draht from the timer to the Neutralleiter from the wall box using a wire nut.
4. Verbinden Sie Grünes Kabel from the timer to the Erdungskabel from the wall box using a wire nut.

Bedienungsanleitung

The ECOELER Countdown Timer Switch offers two primary operating modes: Countdown Mode and Constant On Mode.

Countdown-Modus

To activate a countdown:

1. Press the desired time button (1 Min, 5 Min, 10 Min, 15 Min, 30 Min, 60 Min, 2 Hour, or 4 Hour).
2. The corresponding LED indicator will illuminate, and the countdown will begin.
3. The connected load (light, fan, etc.) will turn off automatically once the selected time expires.
4. To cancel a countdown manually, press the large ON/OFF button at the bottom.

Constant On Mode (Manual Override)

To keep the connected load continuously ON, bypassing the timer function:

1. Press and hold the large ON/OFF button at the bottom for more than 5 seconds.
2. The load will remain ON until the ON/OFF button is pressed again to turn it off.
