The RAB SR8 is an 8-foot LED strip fixture designed for commercial lighting applications. This fixture features field-adjustable power settings (40W, 50W, 60W) and color temperatures (3500K, 4000K, 5000K), providing flexibility to suit various lighting needs. It is 0-10V dimmable and compatible with 120-277V electrical systems, offering efficient and versatile illumination.

2. Sicherheitshinweise

• WARNUNG: Stromschlaggefahr. Vor Installation oder Wartung die Stromzufuhr an der Sicherung oder dem Leitungsschutzschalter unterbrechen.
• Die Installation muss von einem qualifizierten Elektriker gemäß allen nationalen und lokalen Elektrovorschriften durchgeführt werden.
• Sicherstellung der Versorgungsvoltage is correct for the fixture (120-277V).
• Do not handle energized fixture with wet hands.
• Nicht in der Nähe von brennbaren Materialien installieren.

3. Einrichtung und Installation

3.1. Vorinstallation

• Packen Sie die Leuchte aus und überprüfen Sie sie auf eventuelle Beschädigungen.
• Ensure all necessary components are present (LED Fixture).
• Vor Beginn der Installation den Strom am Sicherungsautomaten abschalten.

3.2. Montage der Vorrichtung

1. Mark the desired mounting locations on the ceiling or wall, ensuring they align with the fixture's mounting points.
2. Drill appropriate holes for mounting screws (not included).
3. Secure the fixture to the mounting surface using suitable hardware.

3.3. Elektrische Verkabelung

Connect the fixture to the electrical supply according to the wiring diagram below. Ensure all connections are secure and comply with local electrical codes.

• Connect the black wire from the fixture to the LINE (hot) wire from the supply.
• Connect the white wire from the fixture to the COMMON (neutral) wire from the supply.
• Connect the green or bare copper wire from the fixture to the GROUND wire from the supply.
• For 0-10V dimming, connect the purple wire to (+) DIMV and the pink wire to (-) DIMV from the dimming control. If dimming is not used, cap these wires individually.
• Ensure all wire nuts or connectors are tightened securely.

The RAB SR8 fixture allows for field adjustment of both power output and color temperature to customize lighting performance.

4.1. Power Adjustment (Wattage)

The fixture includes a switch to select the desired wattage output. This allows for optimization of brightness and energy consumption.

• Locate the "Power (W)" switch on the fixture.

• Ensure the fixture is correctly wired for 0-10V dimming as per Section 3.3.
• Use a compatible 0-10V dimmer switch (sold separately) to control the light output.

5. Wartung

The RAB SR8 LED Strip Fixture requires minimal maintenance. Regular cleaning can help maintain optimal performance and appearance.
