4. Einrichtung
4.1 Auspacken und Aufstellen
Carefully remove all packaging materials. Place the dishwasher on a stable, level surface near a water source and drain. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit.
4.2 Wasseranschluss
The DW5 WE offers two methods for water supply:
- Manuelle Befüllung: Use the provided 1.8L jug to pour water directly into the top opening of the dishwasher. The dishwasher requires approximately 5 liters of water per cycle. You will need to fill the jug three times.
- Direct Plumbing: Connect the inlet hose (provided) to a water tap with a 2.5cm (1 inch) connection. Ensure all connections are secure to prevent leaks. A plumber may be required for initial installation.
4.3-Entwässerung
Connect the drain hose (provided) to the dishwasher's drain outlet. Route the hose to a sink or a dedicated drain pipe, ensuring it is securely positioned to prevent dislodgement during operation.

- Intensiv: 89 minutes, 55-75°C. For heavily soiled pots and pans.
- Glas: 50 minutes, 55-68°C. Gentle cycle for delicate glassware.
- Frucht: 19 minutes, Cold. For hygienic cleaning of fruits and vegetables.
5.5 Waschgang starten
After loading dishes and adding detergent, select your desired wash cycle using the touch controls. Press the Start/Pause button to begin the cycle.
5.6 Verzögerte Startfunktion
The dishwasher includes an 18-hour delay timer. Press the 'Delay' button repeatedly to set the desired delay time before the cycle begins.
5.7 Kindersicherung
Activate the child lock to prevent accidental operation. Refer to the control panel for specific instructions on engaging and disengaging the child lock.
5.8 Drying Cycle
The dishwasher features a 60-minute drying cycle to ensure dishes are dry and ready for storage after washing.

6. Wartung
6.1 Filter reinigen
Regularly clean the filter system located at the bottom of the dishwasher tub. Remove food particles and rinse under running water. Reassemble correctly before next use.
6.2 Reinigungssprüharme
