5. Bedienungsanleitung

5.1. Opening and Closing the SCREW-LOCK Gate

1. So entsperren Sie: Rotate the screwgate counter-clockwise until the red indicator band is fully exposed. The gate can now be opened.
2. Öffnen: Push the gate inwards.

7. Fehlerbehebung

7.1. Screwgate Jamming

If the screwgate becomes difficult to turn or jams, it may be due to dirt, mud, ice, or fine debris accumulating in the threads. Clean the screwgate thoroughly as described in the Maintenance section. If the issue persists after cleaning, the carabiner should be retired.

7.2. Gate Not Closing Properly

If the gate does not close completely or springs back slowly, check for debris obstructing the hinge or the gate opening. Clean the carabiner. If the gate mechanism is bent or damaged, retire the carabiner immediately.
