4. Einrichtung und Installation
The EMKE Bathroom Mirror can be installed either horizontally or vertically. Choose the orientation that best suits your space.

Installationsschritte:
- Messen: Determine the desired mounting height and position for the mirror. Mark the drilling points accurately on the wall.
- Markieren: Use a level to ensure the marks are perfectly aligned for horizontal or vertical installation.
- Bohren: Drill holes at the marked positions using an appropriate drill bit for your wall type. Insert wall anchors if necessary.
- Sicher: Insert screws into the wall anchors, leaving a small gap for the mirror's mounting brackets.
- Draht: Connect the mirror's electrical wiring to your household electrical supply. This step should be performed by a qualified electrician. Ensure power is disconnected before wiring.
- Montieren: Carefully hang the mirror onto the secured screws. Ensure it is stable and level.

5. Bedienungsanleitung
Your EMKE Bathroom Mirror features intuitive touch controls for lighting and anti-fog functions.
5.1 Ein-/Ausschalten und Dimmen
- Einschalten: Touch the power button on the mirror surface. The button will illuminate white when the mirror is on.
- Ausschalten: Touch the power button again. The button will illuminate blue when the mirror is off.
- Dimmen: With the light on, press and hold the power button to adjust the brightness from 10% to 100%. Release the button when the desired brightness is reached. The mirror features a cool white light with a color temperature of 6500K.

5.2 Antibeschlagfunktion
- Antibeschlag aktivieren: Touch the dedicated anti-fog button on the mirror surface. This function operates independently for energy efficiency.
- Klare Spiegelung: Once activated, the integrated heating plate ensures a clear reflection even in a humid bathroom environment.

5.3 Memory Function and Automatic Shut-Off
- Speicherfunktion: The mirror remembers the last set brightness level and light color, restoring it upon reactivation.
- Automatische Abschaltung: The mirror lighting will automatically turn off after 3 hours of inactivity to conserve energy.
5.4 Wandschaltersteuerung
- The mirror can be controlled via your home's wall switch, provided the mirror's touch power button is activated (mirror is in an 'on' state).
