5. Einrichtung

5.1 Einlegen der Batterie

1. Öffnen Sie die Batteriefachabdeckung an der Seite des Blitzgeräts.
2. Insert two AA batteries (sold separately) according to the polarity indicators (+/-) inside the compartment.

5.2 Anbringen des Blitzes an der Kamera

6.1 Ein-/Ausschalten

6.2 Mode Selection (Auto/Manual)

The iA32 offers two primary operating modes:

• Automatikmodus: The flash automatically adjusts its power output based on your camera's ISO and aperture settings. The recommended shooting distance will be displayed on the LCD panel.
• Manueller Modus: Provides full control over flash power. You can adjust the output across 8 power levels, from 1/128 to full power (1/1), in 1/3-step increments.

Use the "MOD" button to switch between Auto and Manual modes. Use the '+' and '-' buttons to adjust settings within each mode.

6.3 Flash Head Angle Adjustment

The flash head can be tilted from -7° to 90° using the side dial. This allows for direct flash or bounce flash techniques, where the light is directed off a ceiling or wall for softer illumination.

6.4 Optical S1/S2 Modes

These modes enable the iA32 to function as an optical slave unit, triggered by another flash:

• S1-Modus: The iA32 fires simultaneously with the main flash. This mode is suitable for manual flash units.
• S2-Modus: The iA32 ignores the pre-flash from a TTL-compatible main flash and fires on the second flash pulse. This allows it to be used with cameras that employ a pre-flash for exposure metering.
