Setup und Installation
The COSTWAY retractable awning is designed for wall mounting on cement, brick, or wooden walls. Ensure you have the appropriate tools and assistance for a safe installation.
Erforderliche Werkzeuge (nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten):
- Bohren
- Maßband
- Ebene
- Schraubenschlüssel-/Steckschlüsselsatz
- Bleistift
- Schutzbrille
Installationsschritte:
- Ort wählen: Select a suitable wall location that can support the awning's weight and provides adequate clearance for operation.
- Montagepunkte markieren: Use a level and measuring tape to mark the positions for the mounting brackets. Ensure they are perfectly level and spaced correctly according to the manual's diagrams.
- Bohrlöcher: Drill pilot holes at the marked points. Use appropriate drill bits for your wall type (cement, brick, or wood).
- Halterungen installieren: Securely attach the mounting brackets to the wall using the provided hardware. Ensure all bolts are tightened firmly.
- Mount Markise: With assistance, carefully lift the awning and hook it onto the installed brackets. Secure the awning to the brackets as per the detailed instructions in the included manual.
- Kurbel anschließen: Attach the manual crank handle to the designated mechanism.
- Winkel anpassen: The awning's angle can be adjusted from 5 to 35 degrees. Follow the instructions in the manual to set your desired pitch.

Bedienungsanleitung
Your COSTWAY awning is manually operated using the provided crank handle.
Zum Ausfahren der Markise:
- Führen Sie die Kurbel in die dafür vorgesehene Öse oder den Haken am Markisenmechanismus ein.
- Turn the crank handle clockwise to extend the awning. Continue turning until the awning reaches your desired projection.
- Do not force the awning past its maximum extension.
Zum Einfahren der Markise:
- Insert the crank handle into the designated loop or hook.
- Drehen Sie die Kurbel gegen den Uhrzeigersinn, um die Markise einzufahren. Drehen Sie weiter, bis die Markise vollständig an der Wand anliegt.
- Achten Sie darauf, dass die Markise bei starkem Wind oder bei längerer Nichtbenutzung vollständig eingefahren ist.

Wartung
