Radar Level Sensor (80GHz)
Funktionsprinzip
Das ProScan® 3 (80 GHz) Radar ist ein Sender für kontinuierliche Füllstandsmessungen unter Verwendung der Fast Sweep Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave (FMCW)-Technologie. Der Wandler des Radars sendet kontinuierlich Signaldurchläufe mit konstanter Frequenz in Richtung der Flüssigkeitsoberfläche. Das reflektierte Signal wird dann vom Wandler erfasst. Die Sende- und Empfangszeit wird als Flugzeit bezeichnet.

Sensorpositionierung
For plastic or FRP tanks, ensure the sensor is positioned away from the sidewall.
Avoid placing the sensor near metallic objects outside the tank that could interfere with detection.
Ensure the radar signal strikes the liquid surface at a 90° angle.
Use the inbuilt bubble level to confirm the sensor is vertical.
Account for the dead band during installation.

Messung
Accurate tank measurement is essential for configuring the sensor. When measuring, consider the sensor’s position relative to fittings, risers, dome tops, and bottoms. Identify the reference point from which measurements are taken.
Range: The total distance from the sensor tip to the lowest liquid level. Minimum Configuration (4mA): The distance from the sensor tip to the empty level. Maximum Configuration (20mA): The distance from the sensor tip to the highest liquid or full level. Always consider blind spot (2″) when setting 4-20mA.

Icon Process Controls Ltd garantiert dem ursprünglichen Käufer seiner Produkte, dass diese bei normaler Verwendung und Wartung gemäß den Anweisungen von Icon Process Controls Ltd für einen Zeitraum von einem Jahr ab dem Verkaufsdatum dieser Produkte frei von Material- und Verarbeitungsfehlern sind. Die Verpflichtung von Icon Process Controls Ltd im Rahmen dieser Garantie beschränkt sich ausschließlich auf die Reparatur oder den Ersatz der Produkte oder Komponenten, bei denen Icon Process Controls Ltd nach Prüfung innerhalb der Garantiezeit zu seiner Zufriedenheit feststellt, dass sie Material- oder Verarbeitungsfehler aufweisen, nach Wahl von Icon Process Controls Ltd. Diese Garantie gilt nicht für Produkte, die: 1) deren Garantiezeit abgelaufen ist oder bei denen der Erstkäufer die oben beschriebenen Garantieverfahren nicht befolgt hat; 2) aufgrund von unsachgemäßer, versehentlicher oder fahrlässiger Verwendung elektrischen, mechanischen oder chemischen Schäden ausgesetzt waren; 3) modifiziert oder verändert wurden; 4) von anderen als von Icon Process Controls Ltd autorisiertem Servicepersonal repariert wurden; 5) in Unfälle oder Naturkatastrophen verwickelt waren; oder 6) während der Rücksendung an Icon Process Controls Ltd beschädigt wurden. Icon Process Controls Ltd behält sich das Recht vor, auf diese Garantie einseitig zu verzichten und alle an Icon Process Controls Ltd zurückgesandten Produkte zu entsorgen, wenn: 1) Hinweise auf das Vorhandensein potenziell gefährlicher Stoffe im Produkt vorliegen; oder 2) das Produkt länger als 30 Tage nicht bei Icon Process Controls Ltd abgeholt wurde, nachdem Icon Process Controls Ltd pflichtgemäß die Entsorgung angefordert hat. Diese Garantie stellt die einzige ausdrückliche Garantie von Icon Process Controls Ltd in Verbindung mit seinen Produkten dar. ALLE STILLSCHWEIGENDEN GARANTIEN, EINSCHLIESSLICH, ABER NICHT BESCHRÄNKT AUF DIE GARANTIEN DER MARKTGÄNGIGKEIT UND EIGNUNG FÜR EINEN BESTIMMTEN ZWECK, WERDEN AUSDRÜCKLICH AUSGESCHLOSSEN. Die oben genannten Rechtsmittel der Reparatur oder des Ersatzes sind die ausschließlichen Rechtsmittel bei Verletzung dieser Garantie. IN KEINEM FALL HAFTET Icon Process Controls Ltd FÜR BEISPIELSWEISE ENTSTANDENE ODER FOLGESCHÄDEN JEGLICHER ART, EINSCHLIESSLICH PERSONEN- ODER IMMOBILIENSCHÄDEN, ODER FÜR VERLETZUNGEN EINER PERSON. DIESE GARANTIE STELLT DIE ENDGÜLTIGE, VOLLSTÄNDIGE UND AUSSCHLIESSLICHE ERKLÄRUNG DER GARANTIEBEDINGUNGEN DAR, UND KEINE PERSON IST BERECHTIGT, IM NAMEN VON Icon Process Controls Ltd ANDERE GARANTIEN ODER ZUSICHERUNGEN ABZUGEBEN. Diese Garantie wird gemäß den Gesetzen der Provinz Ontario, Kanada, ausgelegt.
Sollte ein beliebiger Teil dieser Garantie aus irgendeinem Grund für ungültig oder nicht durchsetzbar befunden werden, so hat eine solche Feststellung nicht die Ungültigkeit der übrigen Bestimmungen dieser Garantie zur Folge.
